My daughter had a hysterectomy when she was in her late 20′s after having 3 children. She had her gallbladder removed when in her early 30′s. She is now 46 years old. She has been miserable from beeing too hot and sweating for over 15 years. She is bypolar/anxiety and has been on most of the meds for the conditions. Can someone help please? I can be freezing and she is clammy with sweat dripping from her face. HELP!
My friend told me that her older sister let her underarm hair grow out for a while, then waxed it, and said she hardly ever sweats now because sweat glands are ripped out in the process. True or false?
How can you stop excessive underarm sweating without drugs or antiperspirants (which are bad for you)? This happens even it’s cold — it has nothing to do with sweating from being too hot.
I have suffered from hyperhidrosis since the age of 12. I used aluminum chloride for 4 years and it worked well, until one day it just quit. Since then I have tried oral medication, other types of antipersperints, and botox 3 times. Nothing seems to help. Surgery is not an option for me. Just wondered if anyone had any ideas in helping me with this daily struggle of hiding my sweat marks. Thanks.
I gave birth about a year and a half ago and I still have night sweats. I am miserable and never get a good nights sleep b/c i am so hot. I do take birth control, loestrin 24 fe, but this is not listed as a side effect. Is there anything I can do about these night sweats?
