My hands are always clammy, and it gets worse when I’m nervous. My hands are never, ever dry, but I don’t know why. Is there anything I can do to make them not so sweaty?
I know it’s gross, but please no ridiculous comments.

I have heard of people who have excessive hand sweating or excessive blushing, and that there are surgical procedures for both in which the surgeon cuts a certain nerve near the rib cage, but is it possible/safe to be treated for both? I think I may be suffering from both problems, and it can be socially frustrating.
I’ve had severe underarm sweating my whole life, and on Monday I finally got Botox because no prescription deodorant worked. However, I’m still sweating! Is it true it takes some time to take full effect? I got 20 shots in each armpit.
Thanks.
I am a woman and I really do perspire excessively in my armpits to the point where I plan my clothing to hide perspiration. It is embarassing! It diminished considerably when I was on acne medication (Acutane) for 6 months. I am tall and thin and measure 5ft 9" and weigh 130lb. Could it be hyperactive thyroid? It is worse on certain days of my cycle when there are big changes in hormones levels.
I have hypothyroidism, meaning my thyroid is under-active. I’m wondering if anyone who has this condition has ever experienced excessive sweating (really just my armpits) as a side effect of the medicine (commonly known as levothroid/levothyroxine). I didn’t have this problem before I started the medicine. It sucks, though.
