I haven’t had any fertility problems (never tried to conceive before). Tests showed I was healthy in every way. The nurse insisted I take Clomid. It’s been a nightmare, I’ve felt sick, mood swings, night sweats the whole 9 yards. On CD11 I was bleeding and the nurse shrugged it off, said it was probably nothing. on CD12 my follicle only measured 12mm and today I already ovulated which is very unusual as I usually do a week later so the nurse said she’d do the IUI in the morning. I figure if it grows 1mm/day it’ll only be 14mm tomorrow and I hear an ideal mature follicle is 20-25mm, 17 at the minimum. I’m so frustrated, do you think I’m going to be wasting my money by doing the IUI with such a small follicle?
Beth, the doctor hardly communicates with me, I just saw him for my initial consultation. The nurse DID say to do the IUI (tom. morning) but I’m wondering if I should say no. It takes them 2 minutes but it costs me the sperm and the cost of having it done. It doesn’t seem right to do it when it’s this small.

About 3 weeks ago my sweat glands were infected. I went to the ER and was prescribed Clindamycin, Percocet, and Naproxen. I took those for 3 days before the Dr. switched me to Augmentin for 10 days. I went nearly 7 days without a BM and was getting really nervous, but figured it was the Percocet slowing down my gut.

When I finally did have a BM it was diarrhea. The diarrhea persisted for at least a week, a couple times a day. I figured this was from the antibiotics. I stopped the Augmentin two days early because I couldn’t take the diarrhea anymore. Two days later I had a soft, formed stool.

In the meantime, I began spotting, which I have never done in my 10+ years of menstruating. This made me incredibly nervous again, but I chalked it up to the antibiotics once again, and I started my period 2 days later. (I’ve since read having a YI can cause menstrual irregularities)

2 days ago I noticed I had anal itching. It wasn’t really bad, I just got the urge to go and wipe again. It’s not constant, just a couple times an hour. And earlier when I had a BM, I noticed a drop of blood when I wiped. Then I noticed my vulva is sort of itchy and sore. Not my vagina, but the lips and the top. I thought this might be from my pad (which was clean and dry b/c I always use tampons), but I googled “anal itching” and think I’ve got a yeast infection. Could it be? I have no discharge or odor. I’m 22 years old, not sexually active, and have never had any gastric, urinary or reproductive issues.

I’m not sure what I should get. I thought about getting Monistat but like I said, it’s not really itching inside or much of my front at all. It’s mainly the anal itching that’s bothering me. It’s not unbearable, but it’s certainly uncomfortable. Should I get antifungal cream or hydrocortisone cream? Apply both? Monistat? Preparation H? I’m really confused. This has never happened to me before. Thanks for the help!

My husband has severe anxiety. Works from home. Pretty much is a hermit. He can’t deal with the outside world. My grandmother died and he is trying every trick in the book to get out of having to attend her service.

I really feel bad for him but he should be there for me. I knew he was this way when I married him but it used to not be this bad. He is a good person and a good dad. It’s just these panic attacks that stand in the way.

What can I do to make him attend the services and have our lives back? He has been to the E.R multiple times thinking he’s having a heart attack only to be told it’s anxiety. he sweats and goes numb and acts weird. I don’t want him doing this there but also want him there for me and my family. My parents don’t understand and at times they think he just doesn’t like them. I’m so upset. I don’t know what to do. I see him as a very creative mind and a sweet person but my family judge him and think he’s a freaky shut in now. He used to be so outgoing.
sorry for being so long just had alot on me.
