I had a lump form under my skin a while back. it was right at the end of my tale bone right at the top of my (for a lack of better words) butt crack. one day at work i went to pick up something heavy, strained and it ruptured. relief was welcome but the after math has been hell. It seemed to have tunneled about a half inch or less and several months later it has not gone away! it flares up from time to time and oozs out/bleeds. Last time it happened (4 months ago) i had a friend ( an LPN) create a hole where the lump was originally with a clean needle and we treated it with bactine. just the other day it started building up pressure again and when i pushed on it the puss came out the tunnel and bleed for a few minutes then went away. I work outside so i sweat allot. i do not have medical insurance so before anyone says "you need a doctor" i want to know if anyone has any "home remedies" I travel all the time and with my position and work schedule i do not have time to take off from work by any means atleast for another couple of months. ALSO if i do end up going to a doctor what is the suggestion? a rapid care type place or do you think i need to see a dermatoligist? I am currently in LA so i know there are ton of doctors so finding one wont be a problem that is IF I HAVE TO!
is there a natural treatment?, as much as possible I dont want to see a doctor because surely they will provide options such as undergoing on Botox and ETS which is really costly and non-affordable at my state.
We recently purchased a horse that has had a pretty unhappy past. He has spent his life going from trainer to trainer and high selling horse sale to horse sale. Finally some people got him that just threw him out to pasture for 4 years before we got him. He is underweight and bony, has a small appetite, lacks enthusiasm for work, grinds his teeth while riding, etc. And when we first got him he was so worked up that as soon as you caught him up with the halter he would break out in a sweat. I am quite sure that he has stomach ulcers but there is no way we can afford to put this horse on GastroGuard. Has anyone else found some alternatives that seem to help? He is currently out to pasture full time with two other horses and free access to all the coastal/bermuda he can eat (we’re in Texas and thats about all there is. we tried alfalfa too but didn’t seem to make a difference.)
I guess I should specify… I am not saying that we cannot afford vet bills, I am saying that I will not pay 00 for a one week treatment of gastroguard for a horse that has had ulcers for YEARS, is still living, and for whom I would simply like to better their quality of life. Unless you have constructive comments please keep them to yourself.
recently broke out on my face a lot, and it’s irritating as hell.
i think it’s because of all the sweat and germs from a concert i went to recently.
I don’t want steroids because i have some hydrocortizone and I’m trying to avoid excess use of that…
idk what to do, lately i’ve just been applying this anti-inflammation balm with sunblock/Vitamin E in it, and it’s been effective but only temporarily.
Help?
For several years I have noticed a sharp irritating pain in my right underarm. Nothing serious "to my knowledge" but very annoying & painful. As i felt under my arm, "have been thinking it might be tangled underarm hair" I realized it wasn’t when I felt a slight bump. I’m only a 15year old male so my medical education is slim. I went to my mother asking if she could figure out what it was. Her best guess was a clogged sweat gland. I researched it and the pictures/symptoms didn’t add up. I’m baffled and am unable to see a doctor due to lack of insurance. If anyone can help I would be much obliged to you.
Any information should be helpful, just keep in mind its something on and off, not like a sist were it goes away and you don’t usually notice any of its painful symptoms "in the same spot."
Thanks a bunch.
