Since your sweating stops when you're at home, I suspect two things:

1. Your school does not have decent air conditioning.
OR
2. It's anxiety related. Are you nervous in school? How do you feel about your classmates? Are you picked on?

I would talk to your doctor about it. They can prescribe a strong antiperspirant, recommend a medication or even schedule you for a surgery that re-routes the sweat. They can turn off the glands in the armpits. The side effect it that most people start sweating more somewhere else, like their hands, feet or genital area.

My feet sweat more than I'd like, so I soak them in tea, which "tans" the feet and reduces the sweating.

I had this problem too, I used every deodorent that was also an anti-prespirant. However, if you look at the active ingridients, they are all the same, even the new "clinical strength" from secret and dove. I recently started using one called "certain-dri". You put in on at night, and it closes your sweating pores from your arm pits, you can even shower the next day and put on regular deodorent, its safe, because you have many many other sweating pores throughout your body so your sweat will be redirected through other pores. Its usually in the deodorent aisle in the store but may be on the bottom or top shelf, its not highly promoted. You can just ask the person who works there. It like a white bottle with a greenish blue label with black letters, you can either buy a roll-on or stick. Good Luck.

This is a very normal thing. Much more normal than you probably think.

I had the same problem.

I was freakin out and trying to cure it with everything under the sun. Then one day it just went away by itself.?.

It's like, when you're in your teens, your body is going crazy.

It is most likely anxiety-related. Especially if you don't usually sweat.

In that case, I would recommend that you work on your self-esteem. There are lots of different ways you can do this. But your main goal should be to just like yourself more. You're a very valuable addition to society.

I would tell your parents..Why not? It's not that big of a deal.

Definitely see a doctor.

They'll give you Drysol (or something like it) that will probably stop the sweating. It may cause some irritation initially, but it'll probably go away.

Also, there's a bunch of cool forums you can go to talk about it.

It's really more common than you think. They say about 3-4% of people sweat more than they would like to. And up to 50% of women think that they sweat too much.

Also, try Sage Tea. Just do a search for it.

Check out the sources listed for some more good info on the subject.
