Is botox, as a treatment for armpit-hyperhidrosis painful?
I am 14, it’s been bugging me for 4 years, it’s rather embarassing and limits what i can do in my drama class (which i’m in a special program for)
i have tried just about everything, and i just want to get rid of it, so i’m considering botox.
not sure if it hurts or if they put you to sleep
it would help a lot : ] — al3x
I have tried using
Drysol (which usually works with most people)
the ‘Secret’ Clinical Strength
all kinds of Anti-perspirant over-the-counter stuff
i tried uhm, using a loofah, and scrubbing my armpits vigorously, which is supposed to work
…
nada.

please keep in mind that when you get botox injections it only lasts for 6 months tops however it could stay localized in that area for years. Not enough studies have been done to know what the long term effects are. You can talk to your doctors for a prescription deodorant or perhaps use the clinical strength deodorants on the market if you haven’t done so already.
