I’m 16 years old and I’m concerned about premature menopause, I’ve not had my period in over a month which I’m aware is common at this age but I’ve also had no period pains which I usually get beforehand.
I’ve been waking up in the middle of the night sweating, waking up needing to pee, crazy mood swings, trouble sleeping, joint pains and recently had a UTI (Urinary tract infection), urination troubles are also a symptom.
I’m not 100% it’s sure it’s relevant but I have had radiation exposer previously, unknowingly for god knows how long, though I’m not sure whether was a significant amount or what. (There was a 5cm hole in the bottom of my microwave oven and yes – we threw it out when we found out, about a year ago.)
If my concern grows I will be sure to go to the doctors, I could just be over-thinking and I’m positive I’m not pregnant.
Thank you for answering!
I’m just really paranoid about being infertile, It’s one of my biggest fears, especially as I’ve started to get ridiculously maternal over the past few months. I’m sure I’ll be fine, I just think I can’t be too careful about these things considering I’ve had so many of the symptoms. I’d rather be cautious than completely oblivious, though I try not to get too obsessed. Thanks all
I sweat, alot. not just my armpits, but my hands and feet too. my hands are almost constantly sweating, it is so embarrassing and annoying. ive gone to alot of doctors and nobody knows what it is, ive tried baby powder, different deodorants, but nothing works. Please help!
okay so I’ve had a vaginal infection for about 2 years. I went to the doctors and they gave me medicine but it didn’t go away, and then I moved so I didn’t have medical insurance but now I do.
So what should I say to make an appointment? Should I just say its personal?
How many of these issues should I tell the doctor at once and what type of doctor should I make the appointments with?
And also I wanted to get birth control for my horrible cramps and because I think I have a hormonal inbalance. And I have acne on my chest and back so I wanted to get pills for that. And also I have excessive sweat on my underarms, hands and feet.
oh and I’m 14 going to 15 is their going to be a problem with me taking birth control and not having my period normally? Its just I have horrible cramps and I have a heavy flow. One time I stained myself and I was wearing a tampon and a pad.
so as you can see I have lots of problems so if you can please help thank you in advance thank you(:
Ok so this week I have been told by my doctor that I am going through the Menopause. I am 49 years old. Can anyone recommend something that will help with my several awakenings during the night. I can usually fall asleep but I wake up on the hour, every hour. Today I bought Remifemin. Has anyone used this before? Apparently is works to reduce the hot sweats at night but I wake so many times during the night with pains in my legs which apparently is a symptom although not that common of the menopause. I just want to be able to get rid of the night sweats and the sleep awakenings? Also, my doctor says I can take a hormone, what does that entail?
Thanks
I did ask my doctor what phrase I am going through and all he said was it is hard to tell. This is after me calling the doctors surgery sooooo many times. So frustrating. I am thinking of switching to another doctor as I cannot ever get to speak to him unless I wait a day or two which is no good when you want answers.
I had a lump form under my skin a while back. it was right at the end of my tale bone right at the top of my (for a lack of better words) butt crack. one day at work i went to pick up something heavy, strained and it ruptured. relief was welcome but the after math has been hell. It seemed to have tunneled about a half inch or less and several months later it has not gone away! it flares up from time to time and oozs out/bleeds. Last time it happened (4 months ago) i had a friend ( an LPN) create a hole where the lump was originally with a clean needle and we treated it with bactine. just the other day it started building up pressure again and when i pushed on it the puss came out the tunnel and bleed for a few minutes then went away. I work outside so i sweat allot. i do not have medical insurance so before anyone says "you need a doctor" i want to know if anyone has any "home remedies" I travel all the time and with my position and work schedule i do not have time to take off from work by any means atleast for another couple of months. ALSO if i do end up going to a doctor what is the suggestion? a rapid care type place or do you think i need to see a dermatoligist? I am currently in LA so i know there are ton of doctors so finding one wont be a problem that is IF I HAVE TO!
